For work purposes, I frequently drive a 25 miles section of the Lincoln Highway from Warsaw, Indiana to Plymouth, Indiana. The trip takes me through the small towns of Atwood, Etna Green, Bourbon, and Inwood and parallels the former Pennsylvania Railroad. I’ve noticed multiple stone bridges along the way, most for swales, creeks and rivers but also like the small span pictured below. Now that spring has arrived, I see joggers and bikes nearly every day. A pedestrian / bike trail along this route would be an outstanding addition to all communities on the route.
